Salut Harald
In 1918, after the liberation, no postal establishment in Alsace-Lorraine had a stamp of French date, and for good reason, they had to be manufactured first.
In large offices such as Colmar and Strasbourg, the first French datestamp were put into service around January 10th, 1919; some small post offices or postal agencies continued to use German datestamps for many months during 1919.
The cancellation of French postage stamps with a German datestamp in 1918 - 1919 is therefore common.
What is less common for the piece presented is the use of the SPAL datestamp n° 78, known only from August 30th, 1918, to January 9th, 1919, which explains the rarity index. Such a coin may therefore be worth 10 to 15 euros.
